Senior Home Care Services
Visiting Angels is a licensed senior home care agency (NR #30211451) that provides non-medical homecare to seniors throughout Marion County, Florida on a 24/7 basis. We are accredited by the Better Business Bureau and certified by C.A.U.S.E., a national organization that certifies those companies meeting their standards for conducting background checks on caregivers performing work in customer's homes. We are also certified as "Senior Approved" giving confidence that those deciding to use Visiting Angels will be happy with their choice from start to finish. Our referred caregivers are thoroughly screened and provide critical homemaking services that allow seniors to remain in their home during their golden years.
Homemaker/Companion Service
This service is focused primarily on providing basic homemaking services within the care recipient's home while also providing rewarding companionship. These homemaking services include but are not limited to light housework, meal preparation, medicine reminders, laundry, shopping, incidental transportation, etc.Personal Care Service
As a licensed Nurse Registry in Florida Visiting Angels is able to provide hands on/personal care to its clients. This type of care provides services such as bathing, feeding, transferring, incontinence and more.Live-In Homecare
This service provides the client a caregiver that stays in the home with care recipient on a 24-hour basis. This service can be for as little as three consecutive days per week or as long as seven. This service type can be the best value but the care recipient must meet certain criteria.
Angel Calls
Angel Calls are the perfect service type for those that only need an hour or two of service at a time. You select the specific times you need help and we'll have our caregiver there to assist in the ways you require.
Guardian 911 - Personal Emergency Alarm System
The Guardian 911 Personal Emergency Alarm System is designed to provide the wearer the ability to notify 911 in case of an emergency simply by pushing a button. Once notified, the emergency technician can speak directly to the wearer through the Guardian 911 to get the information they require or trace the call and immediately send help. The Guardian 911 is effective within a normal size home and is extremely easy to install. Key to the Guardian 911 is that there are no monthly monitoring fees. Once you purchase the system there are no additional costs other than the electricity to run the base unit and the batteries that must be replaced annually.Freedom 911 - Personal Emergency Alarm System
The Freedom 911 system is very similar to the Guardian 911 system defined above with the exception that instead of only 9-1-1 being called, the client can choose for the unit to call up to 4 different people in sequence until one is contacted. Should none of those people listed answer the phone, it will then call 9-1-1 if the unit is programmed to make that call.

I'd say they went beyond their expectations, my Visiting Angel called when I was not feeling well and asked if she should come over and stay with me.
